即是Cost accounting. 今日剛剛完成presentation(Group). 我的題目是Supply Chain management, 而對象則是Wal-Mart, 地上最大的一間retailer. 為了這份功課, 用了我不少時間, 雖則講Wal-mart 的文章猶如恆河沙數, 但真正有用的, 只有一少部份, 這通常也是做功課的一大難題. Wal-mart 之成功, 其supply chain 絕對應記一功, Wal-mart 科技的投資, 絕不手軟, 也是全球第一間公司用Barcode system去管理其運輸系統. 而現在則有一種更加新的科技, Radio Frequency Identification(RFID), 簡單來說, 即是一粒晶片, 裏頭能載有很多資訊, 比起運用Barcode, 物流程序更能加快.

Wal-mart 和 P&G 的合作, 也是另一招殺著. 依靠分享電腦系統, P&G可以立刻知道那一間Wal-mart store 缺了甚麼貨, 再在最近的工廠馬上作出補貨, 根本就不用等Wal-mart 通知, 所有貨物往來, 在電腦上一目了然.

Wal-mart 一直標榜 “Always Lowest Price", 向Vendors 施壓是其慣技, 尋找不同的細工廠, 進一步壓低價錢, 更是Wal-mart 一貫作風. 某程度上, P&G 和Wal-mart 一直都不太咬絃, 各自也覺得價錢實在太高或太低. 他們不過純粹利益的結合, 同時間為最大利益Bargain.

講開Wal-mart, 從阿媽聽過一個故事. Wal-mart 最喜歡找一些細廠做生意, 而通常第一年, 細廠會有點虧損, 因為為應付那樣大的訂單, 而作出一些投資. 第二年開始, 細廠就開始獲利, 但第三年之後, 就分分鐘連本帶利也虧蝕. 因為當Wal-mart 見你作出那麼大的投資後, 就會開出一個根本不能接受的價錢, 不接受的話, 之前所作的投資就會一筆勾消, 接受的話, 也不過進一步擴大損失. 又或者, Wal-mart 特意在Contract 上, 逐點挑釁, 最終令她可以幾乎不付錢就要了那些貨, 就算退貨, 那麼大數量的退貨, 足夠令一間細廠立刻玩完, 很多細廠也因此而倒閉. 其實不只Wal-mart, 越大的公司, 就越喜歡這樣做.

嘿, 記住, 這是一個故事, 大家不要太認真, 我可不想有人告我誹謗, 雖然, 這又不是一個秘密.

i don’t have any graphics or ppt related to its SCM, we just relied on certain acadamic journals. the graphics we used was just about the basic process of SCM,
